DESCRIPTION:“¡Tenemos previsto celebrar en persona el Foro Occidental de Salud Migrante y Comunitaria de 2022 y esperamos verlos en Portland\, Oregón\, del 14 al 16 de febrero! Éste será un evento tradicional – ligeramente reducido – en persona\, con muchas oportunidades para reconectar con compañeros y colegas. Según la política de la NWRPCA\, se requerirá un comprobante de la vacuna del COVID-19 para asistir a la parte presencial del Foro\, y se exigirá el comprobante a todos los participantes (asistentes\, expositores\, oradores\, personal de la NWRPCA\, etc.)\n\nEl tema del Foro Occidental de este año “Adelante: Construir resiliencia y fortaleza para una recuperación saludable y justa\,” es un reconocimiento al trayecto\, el trabajo\, la innovación y los sacrificios que en los últimos dos años han hecho nuestros socios\, las comunidades y los colegas que trabajan en las primeras filas y que son los primeros recursos. Es también una promesa para el futuro. La promesa de crear resiliencia a partir de la adversidad\, de nutrir la fortaleza a partir de la pérdida y de comprometerse a crear una comunidad más justa y saludable. Nuestro centro de salud comunitario de primera fila y las organizaciones de base comunitaria encarnan el espíritu de “Adelante”: optimismo\, valor\, resiliencia y compasión. DESCRIPTION:“We are currently planning to hold the 2022 Western Forum for Migrant and Community Health in-person and are looking forward to seeing you in Portland\, Oregon next February 14–16! This will be a traditional – slightly scaled-back – in-person event\, with plenty of opportunities to reconnect with peers and colleagues. Per NWRPCA policy\, proof of COVID-19 vaccine will be required to attend the in-person portion of the Forum\, and is required for all participants (attendees\, exhibitors\, speakers\, NWRPCA staff\, etc.) \n  \nThis year’s Western Forum theme: “Adelante: Building Resilience & Strength for a Healthy & Just Recovery” recognizes the journey\, the work\, the innovation\, and the sacrifices we have made over the past couple years by our frontline colleagues\, communities\, and partners. It’s also a promise to the future. A promise to build resilience from adversity\, to nurture strength from loss\, and to commit to create a more just and healthy community.
