Danforth, this award challenges young people to reach their highest potential and inspire others through leadership and service. In 4-H, recipients are youth who demonstrate self-motivation, determination, leadership, and a commitment to achieving goals that benefit both themselves and their community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible to Apply: Only Senior Members (Grades 9-12)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interviews will be scheduled after all applications are received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/skagit\/skagit-most-inspirational-award-application\/\">Most Inspirational 4-H Member Awards Nomination<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This award honors a 4-H member who encourages and uplifts others through their positive attitude, kindness, and example. 4-H members can be nominated by peers, adults, and leaders as someone who inspires those around them to do their best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/skagit\/skagit-outstanding-4-h-member-award-application\/\">Most Outstanding 4-H Member Award Application<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This award honors members of each age division in 4-H for their outstanding participation at the county program level in&nbsp;4-H leadership, citizenship, personal development, project work, club attendance, public presentation, and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interviews will be scheduled after all applications are received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/skagit\/skagit-friend-of-4-h-nominating-form\/\">Friend of 4-H Award Nomination<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Friend of 4-H Award is designed to recognize the outstanding support provided to our county 4-H program throughout the year and can be awarded to an individual, a business, or a service club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Requirement: Not been awarded in the past 5 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/skagit\/skagit-4-h-leader-of-the-year-nomination-form\/\">Leader of the Year Nomination<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>4-H members, parents, and leaders are invited to nominate an outstanding leader for this award. Below are the requirements to be eligible for pins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Year Pin-&nbsp;<\/strong>Members must attend a minimum of 2\/3 of the club meetings, give a public presentation at the county level, and turn in a completed record book, signed by the main club leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Leadership Pins-&nbsp;<\/strong>The 4-H member must be enrolled in the leadership project. The club leaders determine who has demonstrated excellent leadership abilities throughout the year and recognizes them with this pin. Teen leadership pins are for ages 13 and up. Junior leadership pins are for 12 and under.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/skagit\/top-record-book\/\">Top Record Book<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Only one record book, per age division, per project can be submitted for Top Record Book consideration.
