DESCRIPTION:April 7th – 9th Klickitat County 4-H Spring Break Horse Clinic at the Klickitat County Fairgrounds.  The clinic focus will be on ground classes\, educational components\, Western and English horsemanship\, trail\, and gaming. Early registration is appreciated. SUMMARY:Skamania Pollinator Garden Work Day
DESCRIPTION:April 9th Skamania Pollinator Garden Work Day (Community Service Opportunity) Hegewald Building 1:00 pm – 4:00pm or when done.   \nSkamania County Noxious Weed received a grant to plant a Native Pollinator Garden on the Skamania County fairgrounds.  More hands are needed to help prepare the space on April 9th from 1:00 pm or whenever you can arrive until completed.  Tasks include: \n\nraking the garden site\nshoveling small tranches around the edges\nlaying cardboard down\nshoveling wood chips\n\nAdditional hands of all sizes are welcomed.  Tools will be provided but members are asked to make sure to wear gloves and appropriate footwear.  This is a great way to show how a few hours of light manual labor can eventually lead to something beautiful and give back to their community. \n*Events are not necessarily endorsed by Washington State University Extension or Washington State University 4-H. \n  \nWSU Extension programs\, employment\, and volunteer service are available to all without discrimination.  Concerns regarding potential discrimination may be reported through your local Extension office or directly to the WSU Office for Equal Opportunity\, web: oeo.wsu.edu\, email; oeo@wsu.edu\, phone: 509-335-8288.
