DESCRIPTION:Want to make a difference through gardening and home horticulture outreach? The application period for the WSU Extension Master Gardener Program is officially open! Gain expert knowledge\, volunteer in your community\, and help create a greener\, more resilient future. \nThe WSU Extension Master Gardener Program is one of two options offered through WSU Extension’s Washington Green School; the other is the Washington Gardener certificate. Those accepted for the WSU Extension Master Gardener Program will learn from the same curriculum offered to gardeners who register for the Washington Gardener certificate but will continue with hands-on\, in-person training and as volunteers in their communities. \nRegistrants who complete the non-Master Gardener Washington Gardener training will receive a certificate for their achievement but do not commit as volunteers. \nAll the details are here\, including information on the differences between the two tracks. https://greenschool.extension.wsu.edu/ \nReady to apply now to become a WSU Extension Snohomish County Master Gardener? DESCRIPTION:[section ][row layout=”side-right” padding=”pad-bottom”][column ][textblock ] \nOnline via Zoom and In-person\n\nLearn how to turn the local abundance of tomatoes and fresh vegetables into jars of color and flavor for the dreary days of winter. \nFifth in the Preserve the Harvest series\, we’ll cover the basics of making shelf-stable tomato products along with salsa\, and relish. In addition\, there will be plenty of time for your canning questions after the presentation. \nA list of recommended resources will be provided via email the next day to those registered along with a link to a video recording of the class.
