SUMMARY:Preserve the Harvest 6: Basics of Pressure Canning
DESCRIPTION:[section ][row layout=”side-right” padding=”pad-bottom”][column ][textblock ] \nOnline via Zoom and In-person  \nIn the sixth and final class in the Preserve the Harvest series\, we will cover the basics of Pressure canning.  Pressure canning is the only safe way to can low-acid foods\, such as vegetables and meats. You will learn the science behind pressure canning recommendations\, as well as the basics of using a pressure canner at home based on current USDA canning guidelines.  In addition\, there will be plenty of time for your canning questions after the presentation. \nA list of recommended resources will be provided via email the next day to those registered along with a link to a video recording of the class.
