DESCRIPTION:DIY environmentally and budget friendly cleaning products\n\nJoin Kellee Byard\, Sustainable Communities Program Coordinator at the WSU Snohomish County Extension\, to learn how to make environmentally friendly cleaning supplies from simple household ingredients.\n\nThis workshop will take place on Thursday\, May 15th from 1pm to 2pm. It will be in the Everett Public Library‘s auditorium in the lower level.\n\nFirst\, the workshop will include a presentation on the risks of household hazardous waste and how to dispose of it. Then\, Kellee will demo a product from the “Green Cleaning” recipe booklet. DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, April 16th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm you can create beautiful collage art using recycled paper you have around the house and learn about sustainability in the Snohomish County and beyond!\n\nJoin volunteers from WSU Snohomish County Extension Sustainable Community Stewards at the Main Branch of the Everett Public Library to create upcycled art and to learn how to reduce waste in Snohomish County. Participants are encouraged to bring old magazines\, newspapers\, and other paper materials from home to make their collage art. All other supplies for collaging will be provided.
