Minimum time in a project for an achievement pin is 2 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Section I Projects and Activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Size and Scope (20 points)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Shows growth and progress within the project and involvement in project activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning Experiences (20 points)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Shows participation in a variety of learning experiences undertaken each year within the project. Attends project meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Knowledge and Skills (10 points)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Demonstrates progress in the depth and breadth of project knowledge and increasing skills proficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Section II Experiences in Leadership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Volunteer Leadership \u2013 Project (20 points)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Club level leadership \u2013 Assists newer members, demonstrates techniques, leads discussions, and organizes activities, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. County level leadership \u2013 Assist at clinics, fairs, competitions, Ambassadors, project meetings and events, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Other leadership \u2013 non-4-H leadership in school, church, other organizations, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Elected\/Appointed Leadership (3 points)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Club or County offices or committee chairs held, committee participation. Position duties should have been fully executed, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4-H Promotional Leadership (2 points)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Promotion of 4-H \u2013 encourages new members to join, talks on 4-H to non-4-H groups, making posters, organizing\/participating in membership recruitment rallies, parades, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Section III Experiences in 4-H Citizenship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    A. Citizenship (20 points)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Basic Citizenship: Helpfulness and cooperation, good attitude, increase public awareness of responsibilities of the project, participate in fund raising for project related cause, assist at functions to promote public awareness of the project, other 4-H activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Other 4-H club activities which relate to community or service projects, such as food bank fund raisers, nursing home visits, roadside garbage pick up, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Non 4-H Experiences (5 points)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Service activities involved in as a result of church, school, or other non-4-H group activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Achievement Pin Applications must be submitted to the Extension Office for county judging with an up to date 4-H Record Book. Those choosing the interview option must turn in the application and will be notified of an interview time. Judging will be done by 2 of the following: Program Leader, Superintendent, Project Leader designated by the Program Leader.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>\n
