Deciphering 4-H Online Projects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What project should you to choose in 4-H Online (the online enrollment system for 4-H) to enroll in the project you want to connect with?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Some project titles in the 4-H Online enrollment system don\u2019t match with what we commonly call the project in Snohomish County 4-H. We hope this guide will help you find what you need to enroll in the project you want to connect with. If you have suggestions to add, let us know!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: The email address all project communication goes to is the Family Email you entered in 4-H Online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Snohomish County 4-H Youth Advisory Council<\/strong>: Members interested in participating in or learning more about the Snohomish County 4-H Youth Advisory Council may select Leadership<\/strong> to be added to the mailing list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t
4-H Project<\/th>In 4-H Online, select<\/th>Notes<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n
Creative Arts<\/td>Expressive & Visual Arts<\/td>This project encompasses all creative arts projects, including Crafts, Creative Writing, and Fiber Arts.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Baking, Cooking, Food Science, Nutrition, Foods<\/td>Food Science<\/td>For any food project (except Food Preservation)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Food Preservation<\/td>Food Preservation<\/td>To exhibit preserved food(s) at Fair, members must be enrolled in Food Preservation with a certified enrolled 4-H Volunteer who has a Food Preservation certification.\u00a0 This project cannot be undertaken independently.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Natural Resources, Taxidermy<\/td>Environmental Stewardship & Exploration<\/td>n\/a<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Sewing, Knitting, Needlework, Crochet, Fiber Arts<\/td>Sewing<\/td>Members participating in fiber arts may enroll in either Expressive & Visual Arts or Sewing.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Model Railroad<\/td>Small Engines<\/td>Enroll and then email the office<\/a> to be added to the roster for Model Railroad.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Cloverbuds (5-7 years old) Swine, Beef, Dairy, Llama, Alpaca, Sheep, Goats, and Cloverbuds<\/td>Exploring Farm Animals<\/td>Cloverbuds are not eligible to participate hands-on with medium and large livestock (except Novelty & Pygmy Goats), but they can enroll in Exploring Farm Animals and then email the 4-H office<\/a> to let us know which animal(s) they want to learn about!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Cloverbuds and Horses<\/td>Horseless Horse<\/td>Cloverbuds are not eligible to participate hands-on with horses, but they can enroll in Horseless Horse to learn about them!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n
