You want to make a difference.  You may already recycle, you want to know more and be sure your efforts are contributing to a healthy environment. This eight hour training will feature expert presenters detailing why things can and can\u2019t be recycled, where recycling goes, and how to further reduce current waste. Tour a local recycling center and see exactly how the process is managed.<br \/>\nSample workshop topics include: (Agenda is subject to change)<br \/>\n\u2022\tIntro to Waste\/Materials Management 101<br \/>\n\u2022\tRecycling Myths and Facts\/Do\u2019s and Don\u2019ts<br \/>\n\u2022\tRecycling Beyond the Curb<br \/>\n\u2022\tHousehold Hazardous Waste Disposal<br \/>\n\u2022\tCommercial Composting Systems<br \/>\n\u2022\tReducing Food Waste<br \/>\n\u2022\tOutreach Communication Tips<\/p>\n<p>Following the training you are asked to give 20 hours of your new knowledge to community members at festivals and events in Snohomish County.
