Toss it? No way! Bring it to a WSU Repair Caf\u00e9!<\/h2>\n<div class=\"xdj266r x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs\"><br class=\"html-br\" \/>You can bring your household goods and our fixers will diagnose the issue and do their best to make it usable again. They will show you their process, order parts if necessary, and help you learn how to do it yourself with one-on-one instruction. Our fixers can repair your items and keep stuff from being tossed in the landfill!<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\"><\/div>\n<div>\n<h3 class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">Steps To Participate:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">Arrive at the Community Resource Center of Stanwood Camano between <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">11am and 2pm.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">Repair Specialists will be on-site to help with your item and will work with you on repairing.<\/li>\n<li>Please arrive before 1PM for most repairs, as the last hour is usually filled with completing repairs rather than taking on new projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">Please note:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">We cannot fund the cost of any additional parts needed. If your item needs a part for repair, our volunteer will contact you to discuss this with you.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">We don\u2019t guarantee repairs, and we are not responsible for any damages from attempting to repair an item. So, you must sign a liability release form before seeing a repair specialist.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">At these free repair events, we may decline to work on any item \u2013 in advance or at the event \u2013 depending on the item, the type of repair needed, the fixers available, or for other reasons. We cannot work on cell phone batteries or screens, or Apple product hardware.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\"><strong>Two item maximum per event<\/strong>. First come, first served.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\"><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">What We Repair:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Tabletop appliances (e.g. toasters, blenders, coffee pots, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Our most popular items: vacuums and lamps\n<ul>\n<li>PLEASE EMPTY VACUUMS PRIOR TO EVENT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Toys<\/li>\n<li>Bicycles<\/li>\n<li>Computer software issues (e.g. storage issues, long loading times, email, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Clothing mending and small hemming<\/li>\n<li>Simple jewelry repair (e.g. broken clasp, missing link, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Home decor<\/li>\n<li>And more!
