Do you have Styrofoam occupying your home? Filling up garages, corners, and closets? Then bring your (clean) Styrofoam to our FREE<\/strong> collection event on Saturday, August 29th from 10am to 12pm (2-hour collection window<\/span>)<\/strong> to the western parking lot in McCollum Park!<\/strong><\/div>\n

The Snohomish County WSU Sustainable Community Stewards will be waiting in the parking lot near the old swimming pool<\/strong> at 600 128th St. SE, Everett, WA<\/strong> to collect your Styrofoam, which will then be transported to Styro Recycle in Kent by the Marysville Food Bank.<\/div>\n

Collection will take place from 10am to 12pm<\/strong>. We will collect material until we reach capacity. Donations, whether food or monetary, to the Marysville Food Bank are highly encouraged.<\/div>\n

You can bring:<\/h2>\n

CLEAN, DRY, TAPE AND LABEL FREE<\/h3>\n

  • Styrofoam to-go containers and food trays<\/li>\n
  • bagged Styrofoam packing peanuts (Please check that they are not the biodegradable kind)<\/li>\n
  • bubble wrap<\/li>\n
  • LPDE #4 foam<\/li>\n
  • Styrofoam block packaging, coolers, and sheets<\/li>\n
  • Pink, blue, or gray XPS foam insulation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
