Beach Clean-Up @ Howarth Park
Join us as we clean-up bottles, cigarette butts, fishing gear and other plastic debris from our local beaches. According to National Geographic Magazine “More than 200 animal species have been documented consuming plastic, including turtles, whales, seal, birds, and fish.” We’ll meet in the parking lot. Bring heavy garden or work gloves, an old 5-gallon bucket and pickers if you have them. If not, we can provide them for you. Remember to dress for the weather and the soggy shoreline.…
