Please Help Spokane County Teen Leaders be Change Agents:
Project: Teens Leading Change Period Care Kit for our Homeless population
Mission: Menstruation should never disrupt one’s day, limit opportunities, or cause panic.
100% of homeless people have little to no access to hygiene products. Spokane County 4-H Teen Leaders involved in Youth Advocates for Health (YA4-H!) are leading the way to change. These teens have raised money through participating in a National 4-H Walk-a-Thon and applying for a $1000 grant they hope to receive. But, they still need your help. If you have any of these supplies, would you please consider donating to a good cause:
- Tampons, pads or panty liners (various sizes)
- Baby Wipes
- Extra underwear (different sizes for each bag/panty or boxers)
- A mild pain reliever (Midol or ibuprofen) individually packaged
- Plastic ziplock bags to put stained underwear
- Tide pens
- Chocolate, hard candy or gum (Ex. Jolly Rancher) individually packaged
