Beginning Small Farming and Ranching

September 25 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm


Tuesday nights 6-9:00 pm, September 25 to December 18, 2018 (No class on November 13)

During this 12-week class series, students will learn how to apply successful whole farm management principles to a small farm operation. Learn about farm site location and layout, soil management, growing crops and animals, farm and crop insurance, finance and taxes, marketing and value added product development. This class takes the guesswork out of your dream.

Place: Spokane County Extension 222 N Havana Spokane, WA
Instructors: WSU faculty and staff and community experts
Tuition: $125/person. VETERANS/Active Duty; $50/person*.
