Intro to Poultry Fitting & Handling

New to the poultry project? Wondering about fitting and showing? 4-H members, FFA youth, and new volunteers are all welcome to join a Zoom about the basics and build some skills. The WSU Extension 4-H Small and Companion Animal Committee will help you get ready for fair season with an Introduction to Poultry Fitting & Handling! Bring your questions and your note taking materials. You can even bring your bird (with parent permission of course) to practice with us. Avian Influenza Caution – Please do not gather together in person with birds from different households to watch the Zoom. At this time, Avian Influenza is active in our state. Join the zoom at the link below and learn what it takes to get ready for showing poultry.
