Urban Sheep Keeping Certification

Do you live in the City of Spokane? Do you want to be certified to keep small breed sheep in the urban area? Join us and learn: Legal requirements to own sheep in Spokane, number and type of animals allowed, breed selection to fit city guidelines, buying sheep, manure/odor control, social needs of sheep, basic health care, shelter and fencing, feed and hay. We will also discuss youth raising 4H show lambs for regional livestock events. This class is REQUIRED for keeping sheep in the City of Spokane. Dr. Kuber is the WSU Extension Regional Livestock Specialist for Spokane County.
