COVID-19 Advisory: WSU Extension is working to keep our communities safe. All Extension programming is being provided virtually, postponed, or canceled. Effective March 16, 2020, WSU Extension county offices and WSU Research & Extension Centers will be closed to the public. We are available via email, phone, and webconference.

Our partners include 7 school districts:

  • Deer Park School District; 1 High School, 1 Middle School and 2 Elementary Schools
  • Riverside School District; 1 High School, 1 Middle School, 2 Elementary Schools, 1 Independent Scholar Program (Home School
    Program) and 1 Early Child Education Assistance Program (ECEAP).
  • Cheney School District; 1 Elementary School
  • East Valley School District; 2 Elementary Schools
  • Central Valley School District; 1 Middle School, 3 Elementary Schools, 1 Special Education Site, and 1 ECEAP
  • West Valley School District; 2 Elementary Schools, and 1 Special Education Site
  • Spokane Public Schools; 1 High School, 3 Middle School, 15 Elementary Schools, 7 ECEAP’s, and4 Special Education Sites

Not only are we teaching to children in the local school districts we have many other locations the are available to our adult population.

  • Valley Center, 3 Community Service Offices (food stamp offices), 1 Criminal Justice Center, 2 Spokane Community College Institute for Extended Learning Centers.
  • Partnered with 2nd Harvest we teach classes at the Valley Center Food Pantry, Salvation Army, East Central Community Center Food Pantry, Northeast Community Center Food Pantry, North County Food Pantry, Mead Food Pantry, The Greenhouse in Deer Park, and at the Medical Lake Food Bank.
