They are caring adults who mentor our youth and provide a supportive environment. There are many different volunteer roles and opportunities to suit an individual\u2019s goals and schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All 4-H Volunteers must complete the certification process, particularly those who are in contact with youth on an ongoing basis. Volunteers must also be at least 18 years of age and not enrolled as a 4-H Youth Member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Start the Volunteer Certification Process<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-cta \" >\n\t<a \t\t\t\t\thref=\"https:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/spokane\/4h\/volunteer\/apply\/\"\t\n\t\tclass=\"wsu-button  wsu-button--style-action\">\n\t\t\t\n\t\tFill out the 4-H Volunteer Application\t\t\t<\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Once our office receives your application, we will begin contacting your references and you will be asked to complete a brief, online background check. The certification process also requires thorough training provided by 4-H staff and registration in our volunteer hour database.
