The Spokane County 4-H Budget and Fund-Raising Committee is pleased to announce it will be awarding one $700.00 scholarship to alumni of the Spokane County 4-H. Applicants should have successfully completed an equivalent of at least one semester or quarter of post-secondary instruction\/training and be enrolled in a post-secondary program leading to certification or a degree for the summer or fall of 2026. This general scholarship is available to WSU Spokane 4-H alums in all majors. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note applicants can receive a post-secondary scholarship only once<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deadline for applications is Wednesday, April 15, 2026<\/strong> dropped off or post-marked by 4\/15\/26 or emailed by 11:59 pm 4\/15\/26). We suggest you email or call the main office<\/a> to confirm receipt of your emailed materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recipients of scholarships will be notified late-May of 2026. Award checks will be sent directly to the institution that you plan to attend, beginning in the fall of 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note: No scholarship checks will be sent until the award recipients have provided the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Precise mailing address of their institution including the correct department (e.g., the Registrar\u2019s Office or Financial Aid Office).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Their student number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. A recent photo that may be posted on the 4-H website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. A copy of the essay portion of their scholarship application that may be posted on the 4-H website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. A personal thank you note to the providers of the scholarship, the Spokane County 4-H Budget and Fund-Raising Committee.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
