  • How to use The Western Oregon and Washington Pasture Calendar, a new guide for pasture management and rotational grazing for the region
  • South Puget Sound prairie native plant communities
  • Setting up rotational grazing schedules for managing forage and native prairie wildflowers
  • Prairie butterfly dynamics and conservation biology for land managers
Field Day Team

Fred Colvin (host ranch), Sarah Hamman (CNLM), Marty Chaney (NRCS), and Cheryl Schultz and Sam Bussan (WSU Conservation Biology Lab), and Stephen Bramwell (WSU Extension). Partner ranches: Riverbend Ranch, Mallonee Farm, Fisher Farm.

Registration and Event Details

Registration opens at 8:30am prior to the tour. Coffee and light refreshments will be served. Dress appropriately for summer heat (or spring rain) with hat, sunglasses, sunscreen. There is no registration fee. Please RSVP to Stephen Bramwell, Thurston Co. Extension: bramwell@wsu.edu 360.790.9308
