Closed Loop Park Demonstration Garden
We invite you to come and learn how to turn your food scraps into a rich soil amendment for your gardens. At the workshop you will learn:
- Benefits and challenges of worm composting
- How to set-up a worm bin from scratch
- How to care for your worms
- Using the finished product (worm castings)
Handouts and follow-up resources will be available.
Meet at the gazebo inside the garden. Please dress for the weather as this workshop will be outside. Bring garden gloves if you want to participate in the “hands-on” portion for the workshop.
