In celebration of “International Composting Awareness Week” we invite you to come and learn how to turn your yard waste and food scraps into a rich soil amendment for your gardens. At the workshop you will learn:

• What type of yard waste is best for home composting
• Determine if a compost bin is needed and if so, what type will work best for you
• How to monitor and troubleshoot the yard waste composting process
• Tips on applying yard waste compost for a healthy, beautiful yard.

Handouts and follow-up materials will be provided.
