Please label individual packets/bags/containers)\n\n6 pm to 6:50 pm \nUpon entering you will receive a ticket for each item you brought with you. DESCRIPTION:Do your part to help protect streams and Puget Sound while also keeping stormwater drainage away from your home. Stream Team and WSU Extension’s Native Plant Salvage will co-sponsor a free workshop will provide all the details needed to build one or more rain gardens in your yard to create a low-maintenance\, attractive feature that will also provide habitat for birds and butterflies.\nThis how-to workshop is  offered from 6:00 to 8:15 p.m.  There will also be an optional hands-on component from 8:15pm-9:00pm. Each participant will receive detailed information about designing and building a rain garden\, as well as a full-color rain garden poster and a copy of WSU’s “Rain Garden Handbook for Western Washington Homeowners.” \nJoin us for a free\, hands-on workshop to learn how to add one of these lovely “stormwater” features to your yard. SUMMARY:McLane Creek Trail Maintenance Party
DESCRIPTION:We are teamed up with the Steam Team to help maintain the fabulous McLane Creek Nature Trails. We mindfully trim back growth along the trail\, pull weeds and clear the paths of any large debris. Stream Team will provide gloves\, tools\, snacks and refreshments. Volunteers will be issued a free one-day parking pass in lieu of the Discover Pass that is now required at WA State DNR sites. Please help us keep the trails maintained at this local natural gem.\nDriving Directions: \nFrom Olympia head west on US 101 for 2 miles\, taking the Black Lake Boulevard exit. Proceed left (south) on Black Lake Boulevard. In 3.5 miles the road turns right (west)\, becoming 62nd Avenue. Continue another 0.7 mile to a stop sign. Turn right on Delphi Road. In 0.5 mile turn left into the McLane Creek Demonstration Forest. Reach the trail head in 0.4 mile. Privy available.

DESCRIPTION:3rd Annual Savor South Sound at the Thurston County Fair \nFeaturing Northwest wines\, brews\, and hard ciders \nIt’s time to experience all that Cascadia brewers\, cider makers\, and vintners have to offer at the third annual Savor South Sound\, taking place on Friday\, July 31 and Saturday\, August 1 from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m.\, during the Thurston County Fair. \nThis two-day event will feature over a dozen local producers with a focus on unique recipes\, blends and techniques with a Pacific Northwest touch. You can sample creations from Puget Sound favorites like Three Magnets Brewing\, Fish Tale Ales\, Whitewood Cider Co.\, Top Rung Brewing\, Stottle Winery\, Cloquallum Vineyards\, Seattle Cider Company\, Two Beers Brewing and more. \nThe Nisqually Tribe will also return this year to offer a custom menu they’ve put together especially for this event including salmon caught as part of their sustainable fishing program. \nA ticket to this year’s Savor is $10 and includes a commemorative Belgian-style beer glass and two tastings. Additional tastings will also be available for purchase. Ticket price is in addition to the cost of Fair entry. The event is located at the Gazebo Green near the Food Court Stage. \nThe third annual Live and Local Concert Series presenting local bluegrass sensations\, the Oly Mountain Boys and the Pine Hearts will also be featured at this year’s fair.
