DESCRIPTION:Learn in the Garden \nEvening Open Garden @ Dirt Works \n  \nTake advantage of the summer light and join us for an evening stroll through our Dirt Works Demonstration and Learning Garden\, inside Yauger Park -West Olympia. \nFrom 5pm to 8pm explore 2 acres of inspiring fruit\, vegetable\, ornamental gardens that use scientifically proven gardening practices. At each of the three evenings we will demonstrate a specific gardening practice. \nThe themes: \n\nJune 27th- square foot vegetable gardening\nJuly 25th – fairy and miniature gardening (It includes a fairy and gnome hunt and a make/take activity for children and adults.)\nAugust 22nd- food and yard waste composting  – presentation begins at 6pm at the gazebo\n\nTake home information will be available. \nThis event is free\, open to all\, and no pre-registration needed\, just show up. \n  \nVisit our Dirt Works Garden page for directions or Google “Dirt Works Demonstration Garden”.
