Master Gardener volunteers educate local residents to use environmentally sound gardening practices. Volunteer opportunities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support in the\u00a0question\/answer clinic<\/li>\n<li>Staffing demonstration garden sites at the Olympia Farmers Market, Dirt Works, and Closed Loop Park<\/li>\n<li>Present gardening and composting workshops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"cpb-textblock cpb-item \"><p><\/p>\n<h3>Native Plant Salvage Project (NPSP)<\/h3>\n<p>Contact:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ericag@wsu.edu\">Erica Guttman<\/a>, (360) 867-2164<\/p>\n<p>Native Plant Salvage Project (NPSP) works to restore habitats and protect water resources through action projects and educational activities. Project volunteers recover plants from land scheduled for clearing and then replant them on demonstration\/learning landscape and on restoration sites.
