Ways to Get Involved<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s no one \u201cright\u201d way to volunteer \u2014 choose what fits your schedule, your interests, and your comfort level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Club Leader<\/strong>
Guide the overall club experience, helping youth grow, connect, and succeed. You\u2019ll assume primary responsibility coordinating the clubs regular meetings, and bring in project leaders and community experts to support hands-on learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Leader<\/strong>
Share knowledge in a topic you enjoy \u2014 from cooking to livestock to robotics to arts. You help youth build skills while having fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activity or Event Leader<\/strong>
Lead workshops, assist at county events, judge contests, or help youth participate in short\u2011term activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You choose how deeply you want to dive in \u2014 every role matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Get Started<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Becoming a volunteer is simple, and our team is here to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New volunteers will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Complete a 4-H Volunteer Application<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Pass a free background check<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Provide personal references<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Complete online training modules and in-person training provided by 4-H staff<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You\u2019ll be supported, trained, and welcomed into a caring community of adults who want the best for kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
