Presentations should teach a skill, concept, or principle related to a project that the member is enrolled in and can be a demonstration, an illustrated talk or other prepared speech. Participants are encouraged to use life-like models, miniature models, and\/or illustrative materials as visual aids. The goal is to show how to do something but a finished product is not needed.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Demonstrations and PowerPoint Illustrated Talks<\/span><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">These talks use technology to help show an audience how to do a task. The goal of a demonstration is to have a finished product by explaining the task from step 1 all the way to the final step. A PowerPoint Illustrated talk follows the guidelines of an Illustrated talk.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Topic and Persuasive Speech<\/span><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">These are prepared speeches that do not incorporate any visual aids into the presentation. Topic speeches may teach, entertain, or inform an audience on a subject.
