The show has entered its 14th year in its current format and offers educational opportunities and a trade show for the small fruit industries in the Pacific Northwest and the potato industry in Northwestern Washington. Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Northwest Washington Potato Conference<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Topics include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Impacts of root-knot nematodes (<em>Meloidogyne chitwoodi<\/em> and <em>M. hapla<\/em>) on potato yield and quality in the Pacific Northwest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing soil moisture and soil physical health for potato production in northwestern Washington<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advances in insect and nematode control in potatoes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fighting foliar foes with fungicides<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/site.pheedloop.com\/event\/EVEGQHRTDZGIJ\/sessions\/SESH46Z68QPUVY7QZ\">WSDA WPS Worker Training (Spanish Only)<\/a> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>December 4th 8:00 AM &#8211; 4:00 PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The handler training covers an overview of worker protection standards to help handlers use pesticides safely, legally, and effectively. New this year are real-life case scenarios that highlight exposure incidents, behaviors that contributed to the exposure, and how prevention is possible through proper label use and through the implementation of the worker protection standards.
