The SBDC is an appointment based, confidential, business advising service for local business owners. We meet with business owners or managers, one-on-one, to work on a variety of business topics.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sustainableconnections.org\/foodfarming\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Sustainable Connections Food and Farming Program<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nThe Food &amp; Farming program supports new farmers, connects eaters and food buyers to local farms and fishers and is a resource for building a sustainable local food economy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bellingham.score.org\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Whatcom SCORE<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nSCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. We have been doing this for nearly fifty years.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/communityfood.coop\/community-giving\/farm-fund\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Community Food Coop Farm Fund<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nThe Farm Fund is designed to support and grow the local food and farming economy and increase the amount of locally and sustainably produced products available for sale. It offers whole-farm revenue protection. The plan protects against low revenues due to losses attributable to unavoidable natural disasters such as fire, adverse weather and market fluctuations.
