the woods, a bicycle project is a
wonderful way to get involved and
stay healthy!

 

 

Objectives

  • Select a bicycle based on individual size and needs
  • Demonstrate safe bicycle handling and traffic navigation
  • Ride safely as part of a group of cyclists
  • Plan a bicycle trip/route
  • Develop bicycle maintenance and repair skills
  • Practice off-road etiquette
  • Recognize the connection between cycling and engineering, fitness, textiles, and transporation
