FREE Nutrition Class for Parents

An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Monday, repeating until January 16, 2017

FREE nutrition classes for parents on a budget are taught in English and Spanish as part of the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program.  Monday evenings at the Extension offices or various locations throughout Yakima County.  Contact Gina for more details at gina.ord@wsu.edu.

We developed this garden to help preserve these varieties, experiment with unusual plants and cultivation techniques, discover good tasting vegetable varieties that thrive in Yakima's climate, and establish a Seed Lending Library, so we can share. Hello! This 4-H year several new and/or revised program policies will take effect. We are offering multiple meet-ups to ensure every 4-H Leader has an opportunity to learn about and understand how these policies help promote positive youth development and support 4-H Leaders. Every 4-H leader is required to attend one of the meet-ups. Parents and members are absolutely welcome to attend but are not required as these meetings are geared for leaders. All participants must RSVP, as meet-ups with low enrollment may be rescheduled or canceled.  Click here…
