DESCRIPTION:We have some great opportunities for youth interested in the creation of anime\, short\, or feature films. We will be hosting another Teen Film Camp on Whidbey Island from August 4th-8th\, where participants get immersed in writing\, filming\, and editing their own films. Our mentors are experienced film makers that will be available to answer any questions and guide participants through the creative process. The films made at camp will be shown on the big screen on the last day of camp as apart of the Youth Film Festival on August 8th. See below for more information! \n\n\n\n    \n\n	\n\nTeen Film Camp\n\n\n\nTeen Film Camp is an amazing opportunity for seniors in 4-H to get hands on experience with creating a short film. Participants will get to learn about a variety of aspects of film making from experienced film makers! Senior 4-H Members are invited to apply\, but space is limited to 8 teens. Applications are being accepted until April 21st\, and those that are selected will be notified by April 30th. DESCRIPTION:Registration through 4-H Online will open January 1. Registration deadline is April 3\, 2026. \n\n\n\n\nThe WA State 4-H Hippology Contest will be held Saturday\, May 2\, 2026 at the Grant County Fairgrounds in Moses Lake\, WA.\n\n\n\nThe State Contest is open to Intermediate and Senior 4-H Members who qualified at their county level to compete in this state level contest. Contestants may be selected by any procedure the county deems appropriate (e.g.\, a qualifying county event\, application process\, etc.).\n\n\n\nRegistration is open in 4-H Online. Registration is required for each team member and coach. Registration deadline is April 1\, 2026.\n\n\n\nThe registration fee is $25 per contestant. This fee is payable by one check per team or county and is due at check in at the contest venue May 2. Checks should be made payable to WSU.\n\n\n\nRegistration details and Hippology contest rules can be found on the WA State 4-H website on the WA State 4-H Horse page under the Contest Rules and Info Tab.\n\n\n\nBe sure to check out the Washington State Horse Contests Approved Sources for a list of materials that questions will be written from.\n\n\n\nNEW for 2026 – Scantron will be used to score all phases of the contest. Contest registration will open on Wednesday\, April 1st.  Early registration will end on Friday\, May 29th at 9:59 pm\, with late registration closing on Friday\, June 12th at 9:59 pm. There will be no registrations accepted after the close of late registration on Friday\, June 12th. We will send out more detailed information about registration and payment\, which will be handled through 4-H Online\, when we open the registration portal on Wednesday\, April 1st.  We look forward to seeing you Saturday\, June 27th!

DESCRIPTION:NEW for 2026 is our Dairy Springer Market Class! At arrival at fair the Heifer must be pregnant a minimum of 160 days (preferably between 200 and 250 days) and have all the Dairy heifer vaccinations. (at 12 months: Bovishield Gold 5 +L5\, Calvary 9\, Deworming & Magnet. At pregnancy confirmation: Lepto 5) For those wishing to participate with the Springer Division\, be advised that this will count as one of your two market animals. We are very excited for this new market class! \n\n\n\nAll market animals will require a picture of their Scrapie ID or 840 tags when you register.
