We are very excited for this new market class! \n\n\n\nAll market animals will require a picture of their Scrapie ID or 840 tags when you register. Contest registration will open on Wednesday\, April 1st.  Early registration will end on Friday\, May 29th at 9:59 pm\, with late registration closing on Friday\, June 12th at 9:59 pm. There will be no registrations accepted after the close of late registration on Friday\, June 12th. DESCRIPTION:Join the Sagebrush Riders 4-H Club for an exciting day of horsemanship and competition at the 2026 Sagebrush Riders 4-H Horse Show on Saturday\, May 30th\, 2026\, at Diamond U Arena! Judge Michelle Koffler will oversee a full schedule of English\, Western\, Dressage\, Trail\, Showmanship\, and Gaming classes for Senior\, Intermediate\, Junior\, and Walk-Trot riders. Out-of-county 4-H participants are welcome! \n\n\n\nThe show office opens at 8:00 am with the first class beginning at 9:00 am and afternoon events starting no earlier than 1:00 p.m. Riders can enjoy a wide variety of classes including English Equitation\, Western Pleasure\, Reining\, Pole Bending\, Texas Barrels\, and more. Donation concessions will be available during the lunch break. Find more information on the Sagebrush Riders 4-H Horse Show Entry Form (PDF). \n\n\n\nPre-entries are required at least two weeks before the show\, (ie\, May 16th\, 2026). Dressage\, Western Dressage\, and Reining classes must be pre-entered with no exceptions. Entry fees are $10 arena fee per rider plus $5 per class. We are currently seeking engaging\, youth‑centered workshop proposals that will spark curiosity\, build skills\, and create meaningful experiences for teens from across the state. \n\n\n\nIf you have an idea you’re excited to share\, we’d love to hear from you—learn more and submit a proposal here: Request for Workshop Proposals Teen Conference \n\n\n\nHigh-school aged teens (those who have completed 8th grade and up) are encouraged to come to the Pullman Campus of Washington State University in June each year for the Washington State 4-H Teen Conference. \n\n\n\nSome highlights include: touring the beautiful Pullman campus of WSU\, staying in college dormitories\, eating at WSU’s dining center\, and attending workshops and tours to highlight career pathways and opportunities. We will include workshops to help youth begin preparing for college applications\, scholarship applications\, choosing a college major\, and choosing a career pathway. SUMMARY:Youth Film Festival Call Back Date
DESCRIPTION:Calling Future Film Makers!\n\n\n\nWe have some great opportunities for youth interested in the creation of anime\, short\, or feature films. We will be hosting another Teen Film Camp on Whidbey Island from August 4th-8th\, where participants get immersed in writing\, filming\, and editing their own films. Our mentors are experienced film makers that will be available to answer any questions and guide participants through the creative process. The films made at camp will be shown on the big screen on the last day of camp as apart of the Youth Film Festival on August 8th. See below for more information! \n\n\n\n    \n\n	\n\nTeen Film Camp\n\n\n\nTeen Film Camp is an amazing opportunity for seniors in 4-H to get hands on experience with creating a short film. Participants will get to learn about a variety of aspects of film making from experienced film makers! Senior 4-H Members are invited to apply\, but space is limited to 8 teens. Applications are being accepted until April 21st\, and those that are selected will be notified by April 30th.
