SUMMARY:West Valley Fair Livestock Judging Contest
DESCRIPTION:· Open to all 4-H / FFA members\, even if you are not showing at this fair we welcome you to come participate!         · Contestants will be able to walk around the stock.· Concurrent contests will be held for 4-H\, FFA\, and Adults.· Perpetual Awards will be given to the highest scoring individual in 4-H Junior\, 4-HIntermediate\, 4-H Senior\, FFA and adult\, along with a keepsake banner. \n\n\n\n4-H Members Contest: \n\n\n\n\nAll regularly enrolled 4-H members will be divided into three divisions:Juniors\, Intermediates\, and Seniors.\n\n\n\nOne set of oral reasons will be required of 4-H Seniors andIntermediates. This set of reasons will be taken from one of the 8 classes of livestockjudged. The selected class will be on the species that sells first and appropriate cardswill be distributed. Orals will be done right after the livestock judging portion of thecontest. The judge will not give reasons for the class chosen. The reason portion ofthe contest is not required for Juniors; they may participate but will not be scored. A1st place award will be given to winners in the Junior\, Intermediate and Seniorclasses.\n\n\n\n\nPlease refer to the West Valley Fair premium book for more information regarding the horse show rules\, class information and entry forms.
