What is GivePulse?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Washington State law requires that all WSU volunteers are covered by worker’s compensation insurance.  The Washington State Department of Labor and Industry uses the dates and number of hours that volunteers work to determine the amount of insurance that must be purchased to adequately cover our volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will use GivePulse to document your Volunteer Hours for WSU 4-H Youth Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this page, you will learn what qualifies as volunteer activity for reporting and how to enter your Volunteer Hours.  You can contact the Yakima 4-H office at 509-574-1600<\/a> if you have questions or issues claiming or entering your hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GivePulse program may seem a little cumbersome at first, but once you start using it regularly it is a very valuable tool to be using.<\/p>\n\n\n
