Green Valley 4-H Club Fundraiser Event<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Join the fun! 4-H Dairy Container Creatures Workshop – June 23rd<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Please join us for a fun evening of creating dairy container creatures to be displayed at the Central Washington State Fair Modern Living Building . We will be meeting on Monday, June 23rd at 5:00 pm<\/strong> in the WSU Yakima County Extension Office – Large Conference Room, 2403 S. 18th Street. This project will require the member to using a dairy product container to create a creature of your choice. The container can be altered, and any dairy container(s) can be used, such as, milk cartons, yogurt containers, cottage cheese containers, ice cream and cream cheese containers. Butter boxes and containers can also be used. Be creative! Decorate anyway you like, just please make sure that all of your decor is securely attached to your project. <\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Reference the latest copy of the record book guidelines and requirements covering all the fairs with Yakima 4-H Exhibitors. Making it easier for youth members to complete the record book and for our volunteers to judge them, as this revamped version will be used for ALL of our fairs with Yakima 4-H Exhibitors! \"\ud83c\udf8a\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remembering Robert Ford<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We are sad to share that one of our friends of 4-H, Robert Ford has recently passed. Robert made a great impact on the community through his career as an educator & volunteer, leaving a positive impact on others around him. Rob will certainly be missed by many. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Updated Safety Policy Training for Volunteers – Deadline was June 1st, 2025<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We want to inform about updated safety policy (WSU Protection and Safety of Minors), which is now being implemented across all WSU programs, including Washington 4-H. Since it was written primarily for WSU campus employees, some parts may feel less relevant to 4-H, so we created a 15-minute training to guide you through what matters!  All 4-H Volunteers in Washington were asked to complete the training by June 1st, 2025. <\/strong>The online training linked below is the quickest training option and doesn\u2019t require any logins. If you would rather complete this training in-person or via Zoom with local staff please reach out to Autumn Britt, our local Program Manager, at Autumn.Britt@wsu.edu<\/a> or 509-588-7817<\/a> (work cell, text\/call). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The quick training is available online <\/a>and covers the key points of select topics within EP-14, including: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
