Join us for the&nbsp;4-H Still Entry Judges Training (Westside)&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>May 30th from 9:30 AM \u2013 3:00 PM<\/strong>&nbsp;at the&nbsp;Puyallup Research Center, Allmendinger Room&nbsp;(2606 W Pioneer, Puyallup, WA 98371).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This introductory course will prepare you to become a&nbsp;registered WA 4-H judge&nbsp;in&nbsp;Photography, Posters, Presentations, Food Activities, or Textile Arts. It is open to current 4-H volunteers, parents, and anyone in the community interested in fair judging.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-row wsu-row--halves\" >\r\n    \n<div class=\"wsu-column\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Judge\u2019s Training Highlights<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>4-H judging principles (Danish system, working with youth, scorecards)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on workshops in your chosen area<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge check and mock judging<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Networking with other judges and instructors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-column\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fees and Support<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>$25: Full day (become a registered judge, includes lunch)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$10: Partial day \/ learning only (no lunch)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cost a barrier?&nbsp;Attend at no cost or pay what you can afford \u2013 no questions asked.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>King County residents:&nbsp;If you plan to judge Food Activities, your full-day registration is covered by the King Family Living Project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/king\/event\/4-h-still-entry-judges-training-westside\">Register for the Judge\u2019s Training<\/a>&nbsp;today! After training you will receive an email with a link to pay via Square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Call for Instructors \u2013 Textile Arts<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for additional instructors for the&nbsp;Textile Arts&nbsp;track, especially in&nbsp;quilting, fiber arts, embroidery, and other fabric or fiber disciplines. We prefer to have people that have 4-H judging experience to be instructors.
