These booths help create educational displays that showcase the agriculture of the Yakima Valley but also the various clubs and organizations in the area.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each participating organization is guaranteed a $60 entry payment. Then will be judged against other like booths (i.e. 4-H, FFA, Senior Organization, etc) with additional awards of:<br>\ud83e\udd47 First Place \u2014 $150<br>\ud83e\udd48 Second Place \u2014 $125<br>\ud83e\udd49 Third Place \u2014 $100<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The judging criteria will be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Originality \u2013 20 points<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educational Value \u2013 30 points<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quality and Diversity of Display \u2013 30 points<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General Attractiveness \u2013 20 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Booths should also reflect this years fair theme of&nbsp;<strong>\u201cStars, Stripes, and Fair Lights\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;in honor of the 250th birthday of the United States.&nbsp; Booth setup will be on&nbsp;<strong>Monday, August 3rd<\/strong>&nbsp;by appointment.&nbsp; Takedown is on&nbsp;<strong>Sunday, August 9th from 7:00 \u2013 10:00 am<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information or to enter a booth, contact Kelly Mears at or&nbsp;<a href=\"tel:509-840-0449\">509-840-0449<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*Note: This is open to all groups in Yakima and Benton County.&nbsp; However, the animal portion of the fair is still closed boundaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Yakima Valley Fair &amp; Rodeo is looking for 4-H clubs, FFA chapters, and community organizations to create educational display booths in the Jones Building during the 2026 fair!
