Dori Babcock is the new Spokane County Extension Director of nutrition and health education starting October 2011. Among many other activities, she will be responsible for the Food Sense program, 4-H, and new programming. She spent the last year as a management analyst for the city of Burien where she enhanced her expertise in strategic planning, program integration, organizational development, fitness, nutrition, and health. Her advanced education includes a BS in sports medicine, a BA in health education, and an MS in exercise science from Eastern Washington University.
Dori’s extracurricular activities range from hiking, cycling, rock scrambling, golf, and camping, to volunteering in the community.
