On Saturday, April 12th, 2025 , join the Clallam County Master Gardeners for the first 2nd Saturday 5th Street Garden Walk of the season.
Join WSU Extension Clallam County Master Gardeners at Fifth Street Community Garden, for the first Garden Walk of the season on April 12th from 10:00 -11:30 a.m., as we begin our 2025 season!
Find out what’s growing, or could be growing, in our current flip flop weather of sunshine and warmth or drippy and cold.
The walks have something of interest to people new to vegetable gardening, new to the Pacific Northwest, as well as more seasoned gardeners.
Ask questions and get timely science-based advice. Walk along and learn:
• What needs to be done in the vegetable garden each month
• What problems are likely to appear and how to prevent them and
• What integrated pest management control measures exist for common pests and diseases.
All walks are free and open to the public and occur rain or shine from 10 –11:30 a.m. All walks continue throughout the growing season until September 13.
