2nd Saturday Garden Walk at 5th Street – June 2025

June 14, 2025

Free
Five Gardeners pose for a picture while holding seed packets and plant starts.
WSU Clallam County Master Gardeners, from left, Audreen Williams, Laurie Force, Debra Roos, Kendra Waggoner, and Laurel Moulton plan to escort you through the Fifth Street Community Garden June 14th from 10 to 11:30 AM pinpointing various things that are happening and encouraging things that should be happening in your vegetable gardens.

Warming temperatures and better growing conditions allow for planting warm season crops in the Pacific Northwest. Clallam County Master Gardeners will share tips on what you could be planting or should have planted by now. More importantly, they will discuss how your choices help circumvent pest and disease problems from cropping up in tomato patch and the fruit and vegetable garden. Vigilance and preventative measures avert most pests and diseases problems.

Join us in the garden 10-11:30 rain or shine on June 14 from 10-11:30 for Second Saturday Garden Walk.

The Fifth Street Community Garden is located at 328 East Fifth Street in Port Angeles just off Peabody across from City Hall where there is ample parking for the Saturday events.

The monthly walks are free and open to the public and occur rain or shine and occur 10 to 11:30 AM. They continue through September 13.
