Floy: Meeting called to order at 705PM

In attendance: Shelley Sieg, Veronica Fry, Caroline Vadino, Jim Olson, Lou Sieg, Anita Mastin, Melinda Wilkinson, Floy Ziegler, Nancy Baskett, Aspen Dobbins, Alyssa Bowers, Heidi McKibbin-Cooper

Floy leading meeting due to Sue and Deb being out

Minutes: passed with no edits but spelling

Treasurers report: No activity last month, out of budgeted 15,600/13,453.32 left of budget

Jim made a motion: If cookshack club checks aren’t cashed by April 15 2026, they will be null and voided, Veronica seconded, motion passed unanimously

Floy: check request for rifle and shotgun level 1 $60 each, jim made motion to approve and heidi seconded, passed unanimously

Staff reports: Aspen shared Fred Meyer community rewards, have to sign up and add to your account to earn money for the 4-H association, shared reminder for adding hours to GivePulse

Updates on upcoming events and things including volunteer training, youth day events, etc. Reminders to enroll in 4-H online. Exchange program reminders. Japan and Korea. 1 month or year long program. 1 youth for the upcoming year in Seattle, will be involved in 4-H.

Judges training: pay stipend to trainings, PREC, food, photography, May/june, still life, clothing, lunch, 4-6 hrs, state working on lists for judges

Floy shared about her new 4-H Sewing club, wants to expand it, Royal Sewers

Tabling the bylaws, committees, and fundraising and grant agenda when Sue is back

Cloverbud still life at county fair will be its own area/dept. 

Agriventure at Expo Center updates: 5th graders 1 day, homeschool one day, dinner with a farmer (May 19)

Floy: Fridge at Cookshack is dead, we need to decide what to do with it, asking members if they know of anyone getting rid of an old commercial fridges, or want to sponsor it, we are going to do cookshack, check buy nothing groups, approach lowes and home depot to see if they would donate or sponsor

County 4-H shirt contest discussion

Jim: Willing to do a tool sharpening class for 4-H at a show, Mclendons, etc. Danish Hall
