City Fruit: Organic Pest Management for Fruit Trees

Seattle, WA. Learn how to prevent and manage common fruit tree pests and diseases — including codling moth, apple maggot fly, scab and fungal diseases — without toxic chemicals.  Simple preventive measures such as practicing good tree hygiene and encouraging beneficial insects are encouraged. Instructor Gail Savina is the director of City Fruit and has been teaching and practicing urban pest control in fruit trees for the past six years. This class is part of the Second Sunday Series of fruit tree classes, a collaboration between City People’s Garden Store and City Fruit.
