Course begins September 23, 2026 – November 18, 2026. Wednesday afternoons, 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm.

This course is available via Zoom meeting room, except for one in-person field trip that will be hosted at one of the participants’ properties (TBD) located in Eastern Washington

Whether you’re a long-time forest owner or just taking the first steps to managing your forest, this 9-week program is dedicated to giving you the knowledge and expertise needed to craft your own forest management plan.

From goals focused on timber production and harvest to aesthetics and wildlife, we will help you turn your vision into a detailed, action-oriented roadmap for managing your woods.

Beyond the wealth of knowledge and connections with forestry professionals, creating a forest management plan can also unlock significant financial advantages!

Submitting a comprehensive plan can make your property eligible for valuable conservation cost-share grant programs or current use property tax reductions.

With registration for this course, you are also guaranteed land maps and a site visit from your local forester.
