Celebrating 10 Years of the Washington Small Fruit Conference and Lynden Ag. Show

Volume 9 Issue 10

When: December 1st – 4th

Where: https://pheedloop.com/wasmallfruit/site/

As we enter into Fall, its time to look forward to the Washington Small Fruit Conference in December. This year, as you can imagine, is going to look a lot different than in the past. We will not be holding an in-person event, but deliver the same quality content virtually.

Based on feedback from many of you, we have decided to prioritize time for talks that will be eligible for pesticide recertification credits. That being said we will still include presentations on topics such as horticulture and breeding.

This year we have applied for 10 pesticide credits that will be peppered over four days. This is more than we have applied for in the past to try and help people as fewer options for recertification are available.

With everyone remotely attending this year, we have purchased a new conference management system that will create a much better experience for attendees, vendors, and conference managers.

Topics Include (more detail located on the website):

  • Spotted Winged Drosophila Management
  • Disease Management in Raspberries and Blueberries
  • New and Emerging Pests
  • Soilborne Disease Management
  • Soil and Fertility Management
  • Weed Management Options for Wild Buckwheat

…and more!
