Current uncertain times, and the ever present threat of natural disaster in the Pacific Northwest, has heightened interest in growing food at home. Self sufficiency is becoming more main stream as gardeners hope to create gardens that can provide fresh healthy food for their family year round.

Expert vegetable gardener and Master Gardener, Bob Cain, will share what he has learned while producing an abundant vegetable garden at home in Scotland, Ireland, Colorado and in Sequim. Green Thumb Education Series Presentations are held from 12 to 1 pm on the second and fourth Thursdays of most months.
