Staff Updates: Nancy is back from medical leave!

4-H Online Enrollment is OPEN

  • If you plan to continue with 4-H for the 2026-2027 year you MUST enroll in 4-H Online starting October 1st.
  • Youth and volunteers must be enrolled in 4-H Online before attending any events to ensure liability and medical coverage during 4-H activities.
  • Clubs must have at least one leader enrolled before youth members can be enrolled.
  • Membership fee: $30

Association Meeting

The next Volunteer Association meeting will be help at Kick Off on October 8th. The November meeting will be on Zoom.

Club Forms

  • If you are planning to either start a new club or transition to leader of an existing club, please contact Alyssa as soon as possible
  • Club update forms/information were sent to club leaders. It is crucial to get the most up to date club contact and meeting information. We are working on getting 4-H Online up to date so we can stay in compliance for insurance/EP14 purposes. Thank you to those who have completed it!
  • Record and project books will be due at the Kick Off Meeting, October 8th for scoring.

Food Development and Safety Workshop

Have a recipe, preserved product, snack, sauce, dressing, or baked good you’d like to bring to market? Join the Value-Added Food Product Development: Concept to Market workshop and learn the steps to take your product from idea to shelf.

Cost: $90 per person

This in-person workshop is designed for small- and medium-scale producers interested in developing and marketing value-added food products. Registration includes course materials, lunch, and refreshments.

Youth Class

Ages: 8-18

Cost: Free for youth joining King County 4-H (limited slots available)

Adult/Family Class

Time: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM

Cost: $25 per person

What to expect: Learn the basics of using a sewing machine and create a simple project. All supplies provided. Open to 18 and up and youth 8 and up with parent support. Please register for each person (adult and youth) in your party. Space is limited! Once you are trained in the use of the sewing machines, you may check out the machines to use in office during certain staffed hours to work on projects, repair items, etc. We hope you will continue to use our space to make new connections!

Kick Off Meeting

Join us for our annual new 4-H year Kick Off meeting! All clubs are required to send at least one representative to the meeting. Other volunteers or those interested in becoming volunteers/leaders are welcome too. Dinner will be provided. Please RSVP here

Don’t forget to bring your completed record and project books to Kick Off! If you’ve completed the minimum required activities (usually 7, as noted in your book), you’ll receive a project pin to celebrate your hard work.

Super Saturday

Saturday, November 14th

4-H Super Saturday is back! Join us for a full day of hands-on learning, creativity, and fun. This year’s event features a wide variety of workshops for youth and adults, providing opportunities to learn new skills, explore interests, and connect with the 4-H community in person.

  • Registration is $15 per 4-H youth or $30 per family. Family registration covers two or more members of the same family.
  • Adults, volunteers, and parents should register and pay if they plan to actively participate in workshops. Those who are only assisting their child do not need to register.
  • Non-4-H participants are welcome to attend for $20 per participant, making this a great opportunity to invite friends and family to experience 4-H programs.
  • Please let us know if you need a fee waiver

An optional lunch is available for $5 and includes a slice of Costco pizza (cheese or pepperoni), a drink, and a piece of fruit.

  • Environmental Science Fun
  • 4-H Info (club management, financial training, posters and record books, fair 101 etc)

Northwest Teen Summit

Saddle up for a weekend of leadership, learning, and fun at the Northwest Washington 4-H Teen Summit! Open to 4-H youth ages 12–18 from across Washington State, this Western-themed overnight conference will be held November 7–8, 2026, at Camp Lutherwood in Bellingham.

Teens will build leadership skills, connect with 4-H members from around the state, participate in hands-on workshops, complete a service project, enjoy team-building activities, and even try some line dancing. Workshop topics include animal science, genetics, livestock judging, biosecurity, leadership development, and more, with something for every interest.

Registration opens October 1 through 4-H Online and closes November 4 at 9:59 p.m. PT. Cost is $50 through October 27 and $65 during late registration (October 28–November 4). Workshops are first come, first served, so register early to reserve your spot.

Celebrate National 4-H Week: October 3–10

Join 4-H members, volunteers, alumni, and supporters across the country as we celebrate National 4-H Week, October 3–10! This annual celebration highlights the impact of 4-H and the young people who are learning, leading, serving, and making a difference in their communities.

Show your 4-H pride by wearing green, sharing photos, and telling your 4-H story throughout the week.

Go Green! | October 5

Wear your favorite green gear and help “paint the nation green” in support of 4-H. Whether it’s a shirt, hat, face paint, or accessories, show your 4-H spirit and share your photos using #4HBeyondReady and #National4HWeek.

Thankful Thursday | October 8

Take a moment to recognize the people who make 4-H special. Share a story about a fellow 4-H member, volunteer, educator, or supporter who is making a positive impact in their community and beyond.
