A representative from each club needs to attend each 4-H Council meeting. Meetings are held the last Tuesday of every month, except August and December.

The first 4-H Horse Judging Contest will be held on Monday, April 6 at 6:00 p.m. in Bloom Pavilion at the Kittitas County Fairgrounds. Classes are Showmanship, Western Pleasure, and Trail. The WSU Kittitas County Extension Master Gardeners are holding "Become a Master Gardener" - an informational talk detailing how to become a Master Gardener Volunteer. There is no charge to attend this event
The Bits & Buckles Open Schooling Show will be held Saturday, April 11 beginning at 8:00 a.m. in Bloom Pavilion at the Kittitas County Fairgrounds/Event Center. This is a good show to start the year, gain experience, learn something, and have fun. Entry forms will be emailed to leaders when available.

A Horse Certificate for each horse being used as a 4-H Horse Project needs to be filed at the Extension Office by 5:00 p.m., April 30 to be eligible to exhibit the animal in the Junior Division of the Kittitas County Fair.
