Welcome to the Washington State University (WSU) Livestock and Meat Evaluation Resource home page. This resource was developed as an educational platform for teaching concepts of livestock and meat evaluation, many of which will be useful in the preparation of youth for judging contests and educational demonstrations and the management of youth livestock projects. Through this education, youth producers will be more knowledgeable about economic traits important to the livestock and meat industries. Additionally, this resource aims to help youth develop an interest and appreciation in the livestock and meat industries, such that they might make positive career contributions these industries in their adult life.
