Write an essay describing how your 4-H involvement has impacted your first or continued years of post-secondary education. The essay may be up to 500 words in length. A few hints to help you write your essay: write succinctly and clearly; be certain each paragraph has a strong topic sentence; please be sure to briefly describe your historical [and current] activities with 4-H in Spokane County; "personalize” your application, i.e., do more than report your accomplishments, share what 4-H means to you and how it has shaped you as a person, affected your successes since completing high school, your success in your post-secondary study, and include your future hopes and goals; remember that a good closing paragraph is as important as your opening paragraph!
